The 3rds season came to a close with a visit to North Kildare. Needing to win to definitely avoid relegation, Sandyford batted first and made 148 ao (Amandeep Sahota 41) despite being 120-03 at one stage. It looked about 40 short of what was required until Adamdeep ripped the heart of the Kildare innings taking career best figures of 6-11 with no home batsman getting in to double figures and Kildare were dismissed for 37.

Amandeep Sahota who top-scored with 41 and who took career best figures of 6-11.

The 1st rounded off their season with a visit to Malahide on Sunday. Malahide made 190-05 off 35 overs which Sandyford chased down for the loss of only 4 wickets with Vimal Jacob scoring a career best 90 not out.

A good turnout in O'Neill's of Suffolk Street to say goodbye to Dan "Il Diablo" White. The Marlay Fox interrupted the traditional music session and the on-looking tourists to make a presentation to Dan of "Australian Player of the Year" and a small memento was given to Dan (see below) by Anthony Burke.

With the 2nds game cancelled on Sunday, the 3rds were the only team in action as they travelled to Knockharley to play their 3rd side. This was Dan White's last game for Sandyford and in celebration of this event he scored 113 as Sandyford batted first and made 240-09 off a reduced 35 overs, equalling their highest ever league score. He and Anand Joshi put on a record 3rds team 5th wicket stand of 124. Knockharley, starting with 10 players but reduced to 9 men when one of their players pulled a hamstring made 83 in reply with Dan taking a wicket with his last ball for the club.. Steve Langton took 3-19.
