A good start to the weekend with the 2nds beating Terenure by 5 wickets. Terenure made 151 but with the aid of a career best 70 by Lineesh Ramachadran, who had also taken 4 wickets, the 2nds recorded a comfortable victory.

The 1sts lost to Leinster by 65 runs. Sandyford made 102 ao when chasing 167.

The 3rds had a comfortable victory over Rush, not generally a happy hunting ground for Sandyford teams. Sandyford made 194, aided by a career best 82 by Amandeep Sahota,  and Rush fell well short on 145 ao.

In a rain reduced game on Saturday, the 1st lost away to Laois 2nds. The home side batted first and made an impressive 309-05 from 35 overs (the sixth highest total ever against the club). Despite 50s by both Rahman and Kanwar, Sandyford fell 101 runs short of the total finishing on 208-08.

The 2nds game against North County was abandoned early in the Sandyford innings  (24-02) as the run ups had become unsafe following some rain.

A second fifty in successive games for Kanwar Arora.

An excellent win for the 1st team over their visitors, Merrion. Batting first. Sandyford made 184-07 (Kanwar Arora 71) and with a fine 5-21 by Prem, including Jeff Short first ball, Merrion were all out for 124.

The 3rds continued their run in the Minor Cup by beating Malahide  by 59 runs. Batting first Sandyford made 172-ao, with Dave Larkin hitting a career best 82. The home side never looked like chasing down the total being dismissed for 113 with Dan White taking 4 wickets and a very good catch.

The 3rds also took the field on Sunday against Civil Service in Marlay Park. The away side chose to bat and were 14-06 at one stage with Anand Joshi taking 4 wickets but managed to make 72-ao in the end. With rain clouds gathering, Sandyford set off in hot pursuit and with Rahman hitting a quick 27, the home side made the score for the loss of 3 wickets.

In tropical heat in Marlay Park on Saturday, Sandyford 2nds took on Laois 3rds with the latter batting first. Amandeep Sahota took 5 wickets for the first time in his Sandyford career as the away side were dismissed for 68, a total which Sandyford reasonably comfortably chased down for the loss of 6 wickets.

The 3rds travelled to table toppers Trinity College on Sunday. Batting first Sandyford were 10-5 at one stage but thanks to some hard hitting by Sean McGuinness , Sandyford made 61 ao in the end in front of over 200 people. The students were coasting until James Loftus came on and along with Vimal Jacob took 3 wickets each but the University  struggled over the line with 8 wickets down.

Much better news for the 1sts who beat North County by 64 runs in Marlay Park. The home side made 142/09 and dismissed the visitors for only 78, with Anthony Burke taking 6 wickets
